I Built the Support Service I Always Wished Existed

Named for the problems other people told you couldn’t be fixed.

Somewhere along the way, support stopped being supportive.

If you’ve run a WordPress site for a while, you’ve probably had the copy-pasted reply that didn’t fit your situation, the request closed with the problem half solved, or the back-and-forth that never produced a fix. Support got built around clearing queues instead of solving problems. CantFixThat.com is the other way: a real person who reads what you wrote, understands your setup, and stays on it until it’s fixed. Not closed. Fixed.

There's a real human on the other end. Hi, I'm Josh.

I’m the person you’ll actually be talking to, and I’ve been designing, building and fixing websites since 2007. I started out creating sites for small businesses, then spent years on the hosting side supporting thousands of WordPress sites and the servers underneath them. Along the way I’ve run the web and server systems for a non-profit, built custom tools and automations, and today I work on the hard problems in WordPress membership and course software, the ones that end up on a developer’s desk. Some of the sites I look after have been with me for over 15 years.

Outside of work I’m a husband, a father, a grandfather and a lifelong animal lover.

I'm a professional Technical Analyst

My job is finding out why something actually broke, not just what it looks like from the outside, and explaining it in words you don’t need a developer to understand. I look at where software works well and where it falls short, and I fix the cause rather than the symptom.

Support should feel like talking to someone who actually cares.

Every problem deserves real attention

Not a case number. Not a queue. A real person who read your message and is thinking about your specific situation.

Context matters more than the manual

WordPress problems don't exist in isolation. Your host, your plugins and your setup all interact, so I look at the whole picture.

Accountability at every step

The person who answers your message is the person fixing it. No handoffs, no "let me check with the team," no disappearing acts.

Honest about what I can and can’t do

I tell you upfront what falls within scope. No bait-and-switch, and no charges for things I can’t actually fix.

Ready to work with someone who actually gets it?

Book a single fix, or tell me about your site and I’ll suggest a plan. No contracts, no commitments, just real help.
